OrthoSolid is a secure online platform to:
1. Create and order customised orthoses in a semi-automated and guided workflow.
2. Either buy a printed product or an .stl to print at your own facility.
3. To request more custom projects such as articulated elbow orthoses or protection helmets.
OrthoSolid is designed for orthopaedic professionals who want to take the step toward digitization. Whether you're a self-employed practitioner or part of a large organization, OrthoSolid offers the flexibility to adapt to your workflow and scale with your needs.
At first, it is difficult to blindly trust a new system. However, once you have received a couple of orthoses, your trust will automatically grow as you get more familiar with the entire flow. For example: you’ll learn when not to trust a 3D scan, you’ll learn all the small details in our platform.
The difference mainly lies in who is creating the product. In the core range, you’ll be guided through the flow where you can impose your design intent at every step, see the final orthosis in real time and order.
In the custom flow, you’ll spend a similar amount of time describing your product to us and we’ll design it to your specification. After we finish, you’ll review and accept.

Well, not much. We’ll provide you an account, an account for MyFit and all the training you need. All you need is an open mind to learn and an open space to scan patients.
It depends! We offer up to 3 sessions of 2 hours to get you going.
OrthoSolid is stand alone and does not need any other programs to work. When it comes to 3D-scanners, all 3D-scanners are compatible.
Yes. We understand this is a big departure of what you're used to. We provide up to 3 sessions of 2 hours to help you. We can help you with scanning and product creation depending on your current knowhow.
The choice is yours.
We design our products for HP MJF because it offers the best quality and is easily scalable for us. Other print techniques such as SLS are also excellent, although expensive. For an FDM printer we recommend Prusa or Bambulab. These brands are the easiest to get going and are reliable in our first hand experience. Avoid Ultimaker.
No, a basic laptop is fine.
We don’t recommend this. We will gladly set up an account for each employee so we can implement your preferred admin settings and determine who has access to what.
In short, if you really need to. Since we use your scan directly to create the product it is paramount that the scan resembles the actual patient as much as possible. Products with a thumb support also need a full thumb to be present on the scan.
Yes, For Carpi and Mino, you get two sets. For Volar it depends on the finishing options you choose.

An iPhone is the best option for using MyFit. Some android phones do also work well.
No, the included Myfit application is plenty good enough to start with OrthoSolid. The only caveat is when you own an older Android phone. Myfit is not ideal in that case.
All of them. OrthoSolid accepts files from the following type: .STL, OBJ or .PLY.
Yes, of course. Just email us.
You'll receive your product within two working weeks. STL's are immediately available.
Bugs in software are inevitable. Contact us and we make sure you get your product. We'll then fix the issue as soon as possible.
Nothing. OrthoSolid and its accompanying scan app are free to use. You pay when you order.
Yes, we're convinced. Consider the total time spent on creating a product and OrthoSolid will require less time than traditional methods.
No. There is a fixed price per product and shipping is included.
